Why Jet Washing K-Rend in Burntwood Is a Disaster
We get called out to Burntwood properties fairly regularly where someone — usually a general pressure-washing contractor or a confident homeowner with a hired-in jet washer — has tried to clean K-rend or monocouche the hard way. Here’s the issue. K-rend, monocouche and similar modern renders have their colour running all the way through the coating, not just on the surface. High-pressure water — even at what feels like a moderate setting — strips that surface layer unevenly. Once it’s done, it cannot be undone.
